As a national contractor our maintenance capabilities derive from our regional presence. Major maintenance of both highways and structures is undertaken from all of our regional infrastructure offices. These include standalone contracts, such as we have successfully completed the M5 and M6 motorways in the Midlands for the Highways Agency. The majority, however, have been undertaken on frameworks for highways and structures repairs across the country.
For this nature of works, Interserve uses specialist skills in concrete and steelwork repairs, plant and equipment (including marine), traffic management, waste recycling, mechanical and electrical services.
Our solutions are tailored to customers' needs. Where 24/7 working is an affordable option, we have the experience in shift management to coordinate the works safely and optimise least disruption to the travelling public. If noise or vibration is a concern for local residents, we can offer quieter or alternative approaches. We are mindful that our offerings are sustainable and cost effective. Examples include:
